Introduction to Rope Bondage

This workshop is intended primarily for novices, but will be useful to experienced folks who want to brush up on their rope technique. After some preliminary lectures on basics and safety, participants will be shown some basic rope techniques and then are welcome to try out what they have learned.

Some of the topics to be covered: selecting your rope, rope safety, general principles, cutting, storing, and cleaning your rope, how to make a square knot (the only knot you will need to know), how to make a rope cuff, tying a person on a bed, tying hands in front, tying hands in back, tying hands at sides, tying the feet, tying the elbows, and the hog-tie.

The class will not cover any suspension, genital bondage, body harnesses, breast bondage, head harnesses, punishment bondage, or bondage for resistance play.
